Some strong swimming at the ESSA Individual Championships
14.11.2024
On the 8th November, four girls from High March, namely Amber, Harriet, Amelia and Zoe, took part in the ESSA Individual Championships. ESSA swimming galas are highly competitive with approximately forty schools taking part. There was a minimum entry required time and as a result this is an event with high level competitive swimming.
Our four competitors were excited and keen to do well. Their performance and attitude were very mature and they demonstrated resilience, giving 100% in every event. All girls achieved personal bests in almost every race and made remarkable progress in their swimming. We were particularly proud of Harriet in Year 5, who won a medal for her 50m Backstroke.
Well done, High March swimmers!
