Strong performances from our swimmers

The high standard of our pupils’ swimming was clearly evident at the recent gala against Royal Masonic School and their team spirit shone through from start to finish. The girls gave it their all and we only just missed out on a win by a very slender margin.

Several swimmers deserve a very special mention: in Year 6, for example, Soraya and Harmeen demonstrated impressive skills in both the Individual Medley and Butterfly. Year 4 swimmers, despite being less experienced, produced excellent swims in front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke with Amreet, Olivia, Jessica, and Harriet having some excellent times in Front Crawl. Year 5 also deserve to be singled out as we saw some excellent swims from them, particularly from Ophelia and Elisa in front crawl and Ivy and Molly in the breaststroke.
