Success at the Primary Maths Challenge
20.03.2019
In November 2018, the Year 6 girls took part in the Primary Maths Challenge, which involved more than 67,000 children across the UK. The test paper consisted of 20 multiple-choice questions and 5 problem-solving questions.
From the first round results, 2375 children nationally were invited to sit the bonus round paper; this included Rithya and Melissa in Year 6. The girls took the final paper in February 2019 and, although they agreed that it was demandiing, they enjoyed the challenge.
We were delighted to receive the news that Rithya achieved a bronze award and Melissa achieved a participation certificate. Well done to the girls for making it to the final and for achieving such a high standard.
