Supporting the NSPCC since 1948
03.01.2024
High March has a long association with the NSPCC, raising funds to support the charity for over 75 years since 1948. In that time pupils past and present and their families, along with staff, have continually supported the NSPCC.
In the last five years alone, we have raised an impressive sum of money – over £9000! Thanks must go most recently to the High March Ball Committee, which has very kindly donated a further £1000 following their highly successful Summer Ball, ‘Le Cirque des Rêves’.
At the end of last term, we welcomed Vi Malcolm from the NSPCC to join us in a special assembly at which our Charity Prefects, Charlotte and Florence, presented the NSPCC with a large cheque and donation of £10,136.29! Vi expressed the gratitude of the NSPCC in receiving such a substantial donation and spoke about how the money will help children and young people by training Childline volunteers and supporting children to be safe and overcome difficulties.
Well done and thank you to the whole High March community for giving so generously.
