The return of the High March Christmas Fayre

24.11.2021

There really was something for everyone at our Christmas Fayre this year. Face painting and hair braiding were as popular as ever, as were the glitter tattoo and nail painting stalls whilst the chocolate tombola, one of three tombolas on offer, had an attraction all of its own….

It was lovely to see so many of the girls running stalls, notably the House, NSPCC and the JRSO stalls. As you would expect, Santa was kept busy in his grotto, ably assisted by his elves and the children were delighted to walk away with a present and a photo of themselves with Santa. We had a number of very special raffles with which to tempt parents: luxury hampers as well some gingerbread houses, beautifully decorated courtesy of the High March staff!

Everyone was kept fed and watered courtesy of CH and Co who provided some lovely coffee and cakes and we also had mulled wine and mince pies to add to the festive feel of the occasion.  For those who were feeling a little more peckish, the barbecue provided delicious hot dogs and bacon rolls.

After an absence of a year, it was lovely to be able to hold our Christmas Fayre once again and parents and children (and staff!) all agreed it had been a truly festive and lovely occasion.
