The wonder of books and stories

The girls in Year 3 recently had a marvellous day at The Story Museum in Oxford. From start to finish, the day captured the imagination of each and every girl and reminded them of the wonders of books and stories. The girls took part in two workshops, which encouraged them to think about the true art of storytelling, as well as the importance of group work and sharing ideas. 

The girls particularly enjoyed the gallery tour, which explored some of the classic stories that we know and love – ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’, ‘Winnie the Pooh’ and ‘Alice in Wonderland’. The girls spent the day being transported into a world of stories and were able to let their imaginations run wild…enjoying every minute of it!
