Victory on the football pitch

On Thursday 25 January the Year 3 A & B Football Teams travelled to Maltman’s Green for their first football match representing High March. They were very excited and keen to play.  

The A Team made a great start with Inaya scoring very quickly (her first of many). They went on to win 12-0 with Inaya also getting voted Player of The Match (POM);  Lily, Isla, Olivia and Aria also played very well in the A Team.  

The B Team also started very strongly; they scored plenty of goals resulting in a 10-0 win and Helena being voted POM. The team worked very well together and we saw some great play from these girls.

Both teams linked great passes and did not shy away from making the tackles needed. Well done to all the girls and to those that volunteered to go in goal too.
