Go, Shamrocks!

Thursday, 30^th April saw the Shamrock House Charity Fundraising Day.

During the week, the two Year Six Shamrock House Captains gave wonderfully prepared assemblies to both Upper School and Junior House, presenting a detailed look into the work of the two chosen charities, British Heart Foundation and Battersea Dogs and Cats Trust. On the day, the girls led a variety of exciting activities over both small and big breaktimes. These included a Shammy bake sale, Shamrock healthy heart exercise course (which proved to be very popular!), guess the number of sweets in a jar, wheel of fortune and, last but certainly by no means least, the Shamrock teddy naming competition. Junior House also had the opportunity to show off their creative talents with a leprechaun colouring competition. Adding to the fun atmosphere, we were blessed with glorious sunshine and the day was a tremendous success raising a Shamrock House Day record total of £832 for the two designated charities.
