Well done to our swimmers at the ESSA regionals

Our swimmers represented the school brilliantly at the ESSA Round 2 Swimming Gala on Saturday 25th April at the Guildford Spectrum. This is a very competitive swimming gala on a regional level with strong participation.

Competing from 5pm until 8:30pm, our team of three Year 6 girls and one Year 5  girl showed real determination throughout a very busy evening of relay races. The standard across the region was incredibly high, but our girls rose to the challenge with confidence and maturity. They demonstrated strong technique, noticeable improvement, and a fantastic team spirit that made us all proud.

Unfortunately, we didn’t quite make it through to the finals this time but nevertheless the experience was invaluable and the effort from each swimmer was outstanding.

A huge well done to all four girls for representing the school with such positivity and resilience, and a big thank‑you to their families for the support and dedication that made the evening possible.
