Year 2 embrace the experience of Forest School
01.10.2025
Year 2 had a wonderful time during their recent visit to Forest School, where they enthusiastically embraced some of High March’s core values, including curiosity and initiative. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hammock—although it certainly took a little practice to master getting in and out! Meanwhile, the teachers were treated to delicious fairy cakes and coffee, kindly prepared by the budding chefs in the ever-popular mud kitchen. A peaceful lunch and a well-deserved story provided a welcome pause, giving everyone a chance to recharge before an exciting afternoon of further exploration.
With autumn in full swing, the girls made the most of the natural materials around them by creating and wearing their own conker jewellery. They displayed great teamwork throughout the day’s activities. The trip ended with a cheerful sing-along at base camp, bringing everyone together to reflect on a day filled with learning, laughter and discovery.
