Year 5 are winners at the Aquathon
13.10.2025
On Thursday 9th October, a team of girls from Years 5 and 6 participated in an Aquathon at the Royal Masonic School (RMS). We had a lovely bright day and both teams put in determined performances, both in the pool and on the field. The Year 5 team swam a distance of 200m followed by a 1.2km run and the Year 6 team, a swim distance of 240m followed by a 1.5km run. The run course was particularly challenging with steep and wet downhill sections.Â
The Year 5 girls went first and dominated the race, taking the first four places by some significant margin and winning the overall team trophy. Congratulations, girls! Our Year 6 team followed in a highly competitive race and our girls were provisionally placed 4th, 8th, 12th and 14th in their wave with the final times and overall positions still to be confirmed. Congratulations, Year 6 for putting in such a great effort with wonderful team spirit.
