Year 5 raise money for WaterAid
13.01.2026
After learning about the importance of clean water supplies in geography lessons, some pupils in Year 5 collected pennies in water bottles to raise money to support the work of WaterAid. The girls raised £254.00 and used the money to buy Christmas presents for people in places around the world where there is no reliable clean water and sanitation. They decided to buy the following gifts: two water tanks; two hand pumps; a school toilet; and three hand washing stations.
Well done to all involved for supporting such a worthwhile charity!
