Year 6 are victorious at netball

The entire Year 6 cohort travelled to Maltman’s Green recently to play a ‘whole year’ netball match. The girls were grouped into four teams and they were all very excited at the thought f taking part in the match.

On arrival, the girls had a quick warm-up and were ready to play and demonstrate the skills and teamwork which they had acquired in the first half of the term. Everyone quickly got into the game and we started to ratchet up the goals! The A Team won 8-2 with Etta voted POM (Player of the Match), the B Team won 3-0 and this time Elisa was POM. The C Team followed suit, winning 4-0 with Sienna being voted POM. Finally, the D Team also recorded a win (1-0) and Audrey was declared POM.

We were delighted with these excellent results and were particularly happy to see the progress made in terms of both skills and teamwork since the last whole year group match earlier this term.
