Year 6 say goodbye to High March in style

Friday, 3rd July was a celebratory day to mark the Year 6 girls’ final day in School. Arrangements for Prize Giving were somewhat different this year, with only Year 6 girls present for the awarding of their cups. Mrs Gater, the Headmistress, opened proceedings with a short address to the girls and then live speeches were made by the Head Girls and the Games and Swimming Captains. A recorded, full version of Prize Giving, including the girls’ speeches, will be shared with all parents and pupils by Wednesday 8th July.
Following Prize Giving, the Year 6 girls were treated to a Leavers’ Barbecue and ice creams. A talent show out on the netball courts rounded off the day before each Bubble was collected for their open top bus tour around Beaconsfield.
