Going back in time to Ancient Egypt!

The girls in Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their ‘Ancient Egyptian Day’ on Tuesday. They all looked the part and dressed up in their finest Egyptian outfits – we had many Cleopatras and Tutankhamuns amongst us!

The day began with various creative activities, such as hieroglyphic writing, painting Egyptian scenes and clay modelling, with the girls producing some very impressive designs. After lunch, they worked in groups to practise some dancing and acting routines, which they performed in font of Queen Nefertiti and her entourage!
