A win for our Year 3 swimmers

On Wednesday 22^nd November, our Year 3 swim squad had their first gala altogether against Heatherton House. As you would expect, our girls were very excited at the prospect of their first gala and it was lovely to see how supportive they were of each other.

Our swimmers put in maximum effort and they were delighted to secure a win. Anabelle, Peyton, Grace, Darcy achieved first places in backstroke whilst Mia, Henrietta, Peyton, Eliza and Inaya came first in front crawl. In the team events, we achieved either first or second places consistently with some really fast swims and exceptional team work on display.

All in all, it was a very positive first experience for our Year three swim squad and our swim coaches were delighted with their performance. Well done, everyone! Now we are looking forward to our next gala….!
