A festive swimming gala

We are delighted to share the news from our recent Christmas Swimming Gala. As you would expect, the pool was filled with encouraging voices and enthusiasm.

In keeping with the festive spirit, our swimmers were divided into four teams: Reindeers, Snowflakes, Elves and Baubles. Participants from Year 3 to Year 6, along with our dedicated development swimmers, added to the atmosphere. It was a great celebration of our achievements to date in this academic year.

The gala served as additional experience in competitive swimming for our Year 3 swimmers. The progress across all levels was evident, from the more experienced swim squad to the aspiring development squad. The event ended with a fun novelty swimming race where swimmers had to ride their ‘reindeer’ in a relay. Our girls enjoyed festive cupcakes as a treat -well deserved!

Our committed swim captains played a pivotal role in the gala’s progress. Girls, your leadership did not go unnoticed and is truly appreciated!
