A fun day learning about road safety

On Friday 18 October Elisia and Gabriella,  the Year 6 Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs) attended the JRSO Fun Day run by Buckinghamshire County Council at Green Park near Aylesbury.

The girls took part in six workshops looking at different aspects of road and travel safety. They particularly enjoyed playing at being the fire crew, rescuing a car crash casualty, learning about all the different types of crossing and road signs in a team game and looking at the work of Chiltern Railways to keep everyone safe. They also experienced the view from the cab of a lorry cab which made them realise how careful you have to be around these huge vehicles.

Elisia and Gabriella agreed that they learnt a lot from their day.
