A New Painting for Mrs Gater, the Headmistress

It has become a tradition at High March that the winner of the Rosemary Chapples Art Prize in Year 4 is given a very special commission, that of producing a painting to hang in Mrs Gater’s office.

This year Sophie rose to the challenge and painted a delightful watercolour of a swan on a lake. Sophie presented the painting to Mrs Gater in Assembly and Mrs Gater commented that the subject particularly resonated with her, as she loves birds.

Well done, Sophie! Yuo have produced a really lovely painting.
