A sunshine day!
18.03.2024
We had a wonderful day last Wednesday when we celebrated Daffodil Day. Everybody was dressed in yellow, orange, gold and white, bringing some much-needed sunshine to a rather grey day!
In morning break, the girls at Upper School had the opportunity to decorate a plain cupcake with yellow icing and different toppings. The staff would like to say a huge thank you to parents who contributed to baking or buying plain cakes. It was very much appreciated!
At break and lunch time, Year 6 girls in Daffodil house were in charge of some fun and imaginative stalls: Guess the name of the bunny; Guess how many sweets in the jar; Brain Games; Memory Game; and What’s missing Game.
Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day, especially to the mothers of the Daffodil House Captains, Poppy and Isabelle, who helped organis the activities. We would also like to thank everyone who donated money to our two very deserving charities, Marie Curie and the Alzheimer Society.
Daffodil Day was a fantastic success, and much fun was had by all.
