A whole group netball fixture for Year 5

On Monday 20 January the whole of Year 5 travelled to Westbrook Hay School for a year group netball fixture. The girls were all excited about their first fixture of the term and were keen to get onto the netball courts.

The A Team played very well, winning 5-2. The B Team also had a very close game, but, unfortunately, a victory was just out of reach on this occasion; a score of 3-2 was recorded. Both the C and the D teams demonstrated some lovely netball and, although they did come away with a win, it was pleasing to see the progress since last term.

They all enjoyed their sausage rolls and giant cookies afterwards and, of course, finding out how the other teams had got on during their journey back to school.
