Christmas comes early in Nursery!
24.11.2023
Christmas has truly arrived in Nursery! The children in Wrens and Robins have been working really hard learning all the words and actions of the songs for their concert this morning. In the run-up to the concert, at any moment of the day the sweet voices of the Nursery children singing “Jingle Bells” could be heard!
The concert was a huge success: the children performed beautifully and there was even an encore of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”. In preparation for the concert, the children had spent time making Christmas arts and craft for example, presents and cards for their families and glittery Christmas crowns to wear during the concert. We all wore our favourite Christmas outfits…lots of pretty, sparkly dresses and snuggly Christmas jumpers were on show!
A special “thank you” to Mr Hayes, our Director of Music, who did a fabulous job teaching the children during their music lessons…and they really enjoyed continuing to sing in their classrooms and on the playground every day!
We are so proud of how far all the children have come since joining High March in September…well done, Nursery!
