Harvest time at Upper School
04.10.2019
A beautiful array of gifts was displayed at Upper School on Wednesday for our annual Harvest festival.
The service was a combination of traditional and modern Harvest songs and poetry performed by girls in Years 3 to 6 together with an address from our guest, the Reverend Sharon Roberts. In her talk, she spoke about the importance of sourcing food locally and organically to protect the planet and used the acronym LOAF (Local, Organic, Animal Friendly) to remind us of her points. This was very apt as Mr Clarke, the School chef, had baked a very special Harvest loaf for the occasion, which was admired by all the girls and staff.
All the generous food donations will be greatly appreciated by Slough Food bank, who help some of the people most in need in our community.
