It’s Daffodil Day!

28.03.2025

Staff and pupils alike had a great day on Wednesday, our yearly Daffodil Day. Everybody was dressed in yellow, orange, gold and white in the sunny weather; it was the perfect day to end the end of term.

In morning break at Upper School, girls had a chance to decorate a plain cupcake with yellow icing and different toppings. The staff would like to say a huge thank you to parents who contributed to baking or buying plain cakes. It was very much appreciated!

At break and lunch time, Year 6 girls in Daffodil house were in charge of fun and imaginative stalls: Guess the name of the sheep; Guess how many sweets in the jar; Match the pets to their owners; Pin the tail Game; and Memory Game. There was also a Daffodil treasure Hunt, which proved to be very popular.

We are very grateful to our Daffodil House Captains and their parents who helped them organise some activities and prizes. We would also like to thank everyone who donated money to our two very deserving charities, Marie Curie and the RSPCA, the latter, a charity chosen by our House Captains this year. Daffodil Day was a fantastic success, and much fun was had by all.
