Sophie raises funds for a very worthwhile cause

Well done to Sophie in Year 6 who planned and organised a cake sale after School on Friday, May 10th to raise funds for the charity “Cancer Research UK”. Ably assisted by her friends, Audrey, Eliza and Lola, Sophie raised £250 by selling cakes, cookies and brownies to children, parents and staff at the end of the school day.

Last term on World Cancer Day Sophie cut off her hair and donated it to Little Princess Trust to make into a wig for children who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment. In total, both initiatives have raised £995 (£1,194 if you include gift aid).
