The first netball fixture of the season for Year 4

Yesterday, on Tuesday, 26th September the whole of Year 4 played a netball fixture at Maltman’s Green. There was a mixture of excitement and nerves as they set off on the coach….

The girls were split into four teams and all played very well, learning match play as they went through the games.  The Sky Blue Team had a strong 4-0 win, with Belle scoring well. Amber was voted Player of the Match (POM) by the opposition. The Navy Blue Team also had a strong win with Jess getting voted POM and scoring several goals too. It was a close game for the Yellow Team: they developed their skills as the game progressed but, unfortunately, lost 1-5. On the plus side,  plenty of fun was had by all and Charlotte H was voted POM. The Red Team game was very close indeed amd it ended in a 0-0 draw with Aurora being voted POM. 

The girls all enjoyed the fixture and, of course, the welcome refreshments before boarding the coach back to school.
