A virtual Toy Day

Last week Year One enjoyed a fantastic range of activities from History Off the Page as part of their topic on Toys. Due to the current restrictions, Toy Day was inevitably virtual but this did not detract in any way from the girls’ enjoyment of the day. They studied a range of old and new toys through workshop videos and then had the opportunity to make their own toys.   Throughout the week the girls participated with smiles on their faces and learnt a great deal about how toys have changed over time and how they are made using a variety of materials.
