A week of snow and sun!

Year 6 has just spent a fabulous week skiing on the slopes of Flachau in Austria. The week was packed full of activities: not only did they ski every day, morning and afternoon, they also visited a nearby water park, had a go on the ‘Lucky Flitzer’ – a downhill toboggan run – and had a busy programme of evening activities ranging from a High March themed quiz to ‘High March has got Talent’. The girls made tremendous progress with their skiing; the beginners learnt how to navigate the button and then the chair lifts whilst the more seasoned skiers explored some of the more challenging runs at the resort.  Towards the end of the week, the whole group had the opportunity for a change of scene, spending a day at nearby Zauchensee.

The girls returned home keen to tell everyone about their skiing adventures and, of course, to enjoy a well-earned rest after such a hectic week.
