Exploring the great outdoors

10.06.2022

On Tuesday 7th June, Year 4 visited Paccar Scout Camp in Gerrards Cross. The camp is set in sixty acres of fields and woodlands, which provided the ideal setting for an adventure in the great outdoors.

The girls took part in a range of activities which challenged their agility, balance, team building and resilience. In Archery they learned how to use a bow and arrow safely, while improving their co-ordination. There was also an opportunity to try out the new climbing wall with its variety of routes. One of the highlights of the day was the Nightline, where groups had to navigate their way through a series of obstacles blindfolded…team building with a twist!

We all had a fantastic day in the sunshine.  The girls returned to school feeling tired, but enthused and proud of their achievements.
