Exploring the Roald Dahl Gallery
20.03.2025
Reception had a wonderful day out at the Roald Dahl Gallery in Aylesbury recently.
The girls explored the stories displayed in the gallery, including Fantastic Mr Fox’s tunnels, James’ peach and Matilda’s library, as well as learning all about Roald Dahl himself. They also took part in a wonderful workshop linked to the story of Matilda and were able to make their own book bags. They investigated all manner of artefacts in the museum whilst searching for inspiration for their story bags. There was a wide array of colours and materials from which the girls could choose to help bring their imagination to life.
Everyone returned to school happy and exhausted after their exciting adventure.
