Junior House mark Remembrance Day
10.11.2023
At Junior House today, all pupils from Nursery to Year 2 paused to reflect on the significance of Remembrance Day at the end of morning break.
Mrs Gray read the famous poem, ‘For the Fallen’ by Robert Binyon, and the Bursar, Mr Honiball played ‘The Last Post’ on the trumpet. We then had a two minute silence followed by Mr Honiball playing ‘Reveille’. Observing the two minute silence was the culmination of a number of activities which have taken place throughout the week on the theme of remembrance.
