Nursery embrace Forest School

Nursery Robins had a fantastic day at Mop End Forest School last Friday despite the weather not being terribly kind! 

For such young children, just leaving the cocoon of High March and going on a coach is an adventure in itself! The opportunity to explore the great outdoors and have the chance to dig for bugs, swing from the trees in a hammock and make a cosy den is wonderful for our boys and girls. During our morning session in the Forest, we enjoyed hot chocolate and a biscuit, which was very welcome given the chilly weather. Our delicious packed lunch, prepared by school, fuelled us for our afternoon activities.

The Nursery children truly threw themselves into the experience and we came home muddy and tired but with huge smiles on our faces. We are very much looking forward to our next sessions over the coming months.
