Nursery, Junior and Senior Sports Days

On Friday 14 June we started off our Sports Days with the Nursery Robins and then the Nursery Wrens Sports Days. The children enjoyed racing in the sprint race, the beanbag and bat race, the quoit on head race and the dress up race. Lots of fun was had by all. 

On Saturday 15 June the weather was, unfortunately, not on our side and it was a close call as to whether we should cancel or not. However, we persevered!  Credit goes to the girls who responded brilliantly and, despite the weather, they thoroughly enjoyed competing (even in the rain!).  

In the break the heavens opened, with some thunder too and again we were tracking the weather radar and hoping that there would be no further rain. To our delight, the weather changed and we were able to get through all the events at Upper School Sports Day, including the Human Caterpillar. 

All the girls performed well and showed great determination and resilience, especially in the morning.  

We were very proud of them all!
